Automated workstation for pallet dismantling

The pallet assembly station consists of four parts. Of course, the most important of these is the industrial robot from YASKAWA. However, the set also includes a rotating table, a roller conveyor, and a gripper.
The rotating table is divided into two parts. On each part, there is a mold on which - on one side, the operator places blocks and longitudinal beams, while the second part allows for the assembly of the entire pallet. The mold allows for adjusting the distances between the boards, blocks, the arrangement of the longitudinal beams, and the geometry of the blocks. It is also possible to use a dedicated mold for a specific type of pallet and to swap it quickly.
During operation, the operator selects the type of pallet on the panel and then modifies the dimensions of all the material as well as the geometry of individual elements. Thanks to the graphical interface, operators can easily design new pallet assembly schemes.
