The automated upholstery system for headboards, continental beds, or furniture boxes offers flexibility, speed, and simplicity.
The upholstery robot eliminates the labor-intensive and heavy work involved in operating staplers. Robotization of the workstation prevents injuries at work, ensures full repeatability of products, and increases efficiency without the need to hire new employees. There is no need to have experience in robotics or engineering to operate such a workstation. The strength of the robotic system lies in its flexibility. The possibilities for stapling are unlimited, as each staple can be placed freely and precisely in any location.
The workstation consists of a proprietary fabric positioning and clamping system, a 6-axis YASKAWA robot equipped with an upholstery stapler, and a complete safety system consisting of protective barriers and a light curtain.
